Blanding discusses his recent book “North by Shakespeare: A Rogue Scholar’s Quest for the Truth Behind The Bard’s Work” -- based on research conducted by McCarthy -- who used special software to investigate the background to Shakespeare’s plays — leading to an enigmatic 16th-century courtier, Thomas North. Blanding is an investigative reporter. McCarthy is an independent researcher.
Presentation by Rebecca Bryan and Janice Beitz. We inherit our genes. However, this accounts for only 2% of genetic expression. The rest depends on epigenetic influences that inform how immune systems develop. In particular, childhood adversity aligns with risks for wound development and healing. Rebecca Bryan is Director of Professional Development at Rutgers School of Nursing. She is certified in trauma-informed care. Janice Beitz is Professor of Nursing at Rutgers with 45 years of teaching experience. She is board-certified and has received a variety of honors.
